A spry woman, clearly in her late-sixties or early seventies. She moved to Independence about 32 years ago with her husband who died back in the 80s. She is rarely seen in town, seemingly preferring to do her shopping late at night at the Walmart over by Jacksonville, the next town over.
Always happy to give the occasional visitors to the The Birth-View Museum a personal guided tour, it is as rare for locals to visit the museum, as it is to find a local who has not been at some point. The bulk of the museum’s visitors (though there are not many overall) tend either to be lovers of the macabre, or tourists stopping off in Independence for a bite of lunch whilst travelling somewhere more interesting.
